Yes!  First set up an account as per above,  then either select a single class pass or if you’re new to YYC you can purchase a 3 week unlimited attendance pass for just $45.

Refer to our Classes page for information on each level. If you are still unsure about which level to attend, we recommend you attend the less experienced level- there is always something to learn! Then discuss your options with your teacher after class. Alternatively, you can call to discuss.

Wear loose comfortable clothing you can move easily in. We supply all the mats and props for use in introductory level classes, but you can bring your own. We have change rooms and storage areas for your shoes and belongings outside the studio. Drink water after class. Do not eat a large meal up to 3-4 hours before class.

If you miss a class you can make up a class of the same level by the end of that term, including two week term break.

If you have made a booking but can’t make it to a class, please call studio or cancel on automated booking system so that another student may have the opportunity to take your place, especially when numbers are restricted for in studio classes.

It’s best if you can attend regularly but if your work or family life make it difficult to attend a weekly class, consider a ten class pass, valid for 3 months. 

Our year is structured around four 10 week terms in line with school year. During the 2 week term breaks we offer a slightly modified time table including early morning intensives

Studio doors will open 15 minutes before classes start so you may arrive early and set up your mat. Please turn off your mobile phones and speak softly in the studios. Please scan your QR Code or sign in when you arrive and wear a mask while moving about the space. Masks may be removed for practice.

Those attending on-line classes via zoom from home, please ensure your screen is positioned so your mat is visible to the teacher, video is on and audio off! Please do not arrive late or leave early.

We have some printed practice sequences you can use at home as a guide. Also, a library of recorded classes are available for viewing through internet at home. Iyogaprops has a range of books, dvd’s and props for sale.

Classes are offered On-line via zoom during lockdowns. If you are unable to attend On-line classes we will pause your membership or extend your 10 class pass.

On-line  classes will continue when restrictions are lifted and In-studio classes will be offered to those with proof of double vaccination as per Government Health Regulations.. Please sign the Waiver Form on your  Account and email a copy of your vaccination certificate to info@yarravilleyoga.com.au. Student numbers will be restricted according to social distancing regulations for in-studio classes and bookings are essential.

Yoga can be practiced any time anywhere, though preferably out of direct sunlight and not after a big meal.  In class we use a number of props to make poses more accessible but if you haven’t got equipment at home; a non slip surface, a folded blanket or 2, a belt and a block the size of a brick would be helpful.
