For level 2 & 3 students, and experienced level 1 students with a minimum of 1 year regular Iyengar yoga attendance. Students may attend these classes casually as well as booking into a 10-week course.
Pranayama is a set of controlled breathing sequences. The observance and adjustment of the breath begins in asana, pranayama develops and refines this through various exercises and techniques. Pranayama, the yogic art of breathing, leads to a control of the emotions which in turn brings stability, concentration and mental poise (BKS Iyengar, Light on Pranayama).
10-week courses:
Mondays, 5.15-6pm with George.
Saturdays, 8-8.45am with Peter.
