Our special treat during term 3 at YYC was the weekend workshop offered by Caroline Coggins.  This was senior teacher Caroline’s first visit to YYC and it was a joy to be present.  Caroline brings decades of experience working with the Iyengars and is the trainer of a generation of teachers in Australia.  She brings an approach which is both kind and firm.  Her teaching is informed by a deep understanding of the Iyengar method and a confidence in the wisdom we each hold within our being.

A highlight of her visit was the Saturday afternoon tea where we were fascinated to hear of her journey back into mystical catholicism, of the service she brings to the community through her volunteer work in prisons and her annual work In Wales where she acts as councillor to pilgrims on the spiritual path.
